   Ever come up against a brick wall in life?  There is a famous walled city mentioned in the Bible, and God’s children couldn’t physically defeat it!  God gave them a plan to follow & the walls fell & they won!  God has given us the Bible for our plan & there is a song written in the Bible titled, “A Song of Confidence in God.”  Here is an excerpt: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.  Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.”  Get your eyes off that wall & on JESUS!

Challenge of the Week: 
    Take a little notebook with you for 7 days, wherever you go. Keep score!  Each time you leave a witness & show the love of God to any person you have contact with give yourself a point! Each time you fail to show the love of God, put a point under a column titled "Missed Opportunity".    At the end of 7 days, take a few moments to pray over your score.  Jesus talked about the sower who soweth the word, that would be you, He said some of what we sow falls on good ground, they hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.   He followed that lesson right up with not hiding our candle! Be a light!!!! Mark 4:14-21

   Simply trust Him with your future, one day at a time.   You may not have all your answers until you reach heaven, but there is peace & comfort in Jesus.

Almost Finished & Encouragement!

I received this encouraging note this morning from a dear friend in Canada:


   "I wanted to tell you that Tiny Purses with a Purpose
is now in Chilliwack, British Columbia, and my sister
Nettie and I met a lady on the plane, who as Nettie
spoke her,  needed a word of encouragement and
I gave her one of your precious cards.    Also
a man in the mall, as I spoke with him, needed
a word and he too received a card.    I'm loving it!
   I discovered waiting rooms at hospitals are
a good place to share a card.    While I was waiting
for Ron, I gave a card to a girl who was going for
day surgery.     She was touched by the Word!!
So my dear, what a very special ministry you
have begun and only eternity will reveal the long
term effects on these lives."

  I am grateful for this encouraging report & ask for prayers to continue this ministry!  MOST OF ALL I pray that each of you will "spread the Word of God" with these cards and in any other way that God leads you!   You make it happen, as you obey JESUS and "go into the world" with the good news!   As the song we sang in High School Choir says:
Spread a little love around,
Share it with the one who's down.
Live is full of joy and happiness,
When you find the Savior's love....

Hello!  
   I've noticed sort of a gloomy atmosphere in the grocery stores and shops!  I was in a clothing store this week and gloom was so thick!  I checked out and since 2 clerks were there I handed them both a Tiny Purse card and said I hoped they would be encouraged.  Well, wouldn't you know, but one of them mentioned something about God always being faithful and the other chimed in and before you know it, we'd encouraged each other!  We parted with high fives all around!  God wants to brighten our days and the days of those we encounter, but we've got to be willing to reach out!  Following is this week's Tiny Purse card content!  Be blessed!  Kathy
